H W Moon launches fundraising appeal for PCD (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia)
H W Moon Toyota has launched a fundraising appeal and awareness campaign to support research into PCD (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia), a progressive, rare genetic disease for which no specific treatments exist. The cause is close to the hearts of the entire H W Moon team, as colleague, Keri Brooks' son, Owen, was born with this condition. Current practice is to use treatments originally designed for Cystic Fibrosis, so Owen spends a minimum of 2 hours per day on chest physio in order to clear his airways.
